Item Details
Description
An attractive Egyptian alabaster jar, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, the body ovoid with flattened base, the neck short with wide, flat rim. At side are small vertically aligned lug handles. H: 2 3/8 in (6 cm). Well-preserved with light deposits. Ex Devon, UK private collection acquired in the 1950's - 60's, thence by descent.
