Art Deco brooch, c1920.------------This brooch contains 14 round full cut F color VVS1 .10ct diamonds for a total diamond weight of 1.40 carats.The other stones are small emeralds and black onyx.--------------------------------An exceptional work of Egyptian influenced workmanship from the ealry 1920s.When King tuts tomb was discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter, a mania for Egyptian style jewelry swept the European continenent, and items like this brooch, which is made from 18k yellow gold, platinum, emerald,black onyx and diamonds.It is in superb condition and comes in the original Tiffany & Co box.
