Signed, located and dated in ink Eanger I. Couse Paris 1893, lower right
Titled "The Final Song" on Fenn Galleries Ltd. tag and stamp, verso of retained frame backing.
Study for oil painting "Mourning the Chief of the Tribe" with photograph of painting included with the lot.
Image measures 13.25 x 17.125 (in).

Provenance: Private collection, Phoenix, Arizona acquired from Forrest Fenn Gallery, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

This work will be included in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné.
Condition
This lot has a 1-inch tear on right margin and minor tears in the upper left and lower right margins of the paper all with paper loss. This lot has mat burn in the paper surrounding the entire image. This lot has a 3-inch crease on the left margin and a 1.5-inch crease on the lower left corner of the paper.
