TWO ASSOCIATED CANTON FAMILLE ROSE HEXAGONAL PLANTERS AND STANDS
19th century
One planter with a depiction of ladies, monks, musicians at court during a festive or ceremony event, the other portraying a pavilion scene with ladies engaged in different activities and only one official; the stands with butterflies and precious objects among roses and flower buds.
19cm (7 1/2in) high x 28.9cm (11 3/8in) wide (4).
Condition
General signs of rub and wear, firing imperfections and losses to the enamels. Scattered limescale both to the exterior and the interior. Both planter with drilled holes at the bottom.
